read this. I wrote this in honor of
Valentines Day. Again, I'll be
using Kurama and Hiei. I love these 2

what our favorite yaoi couple does when
Valentines Day comes up?
That's why I made this fic! Enjoy

Hiei positioned himself on a tree as he
looked over all the ningens
bustling around about this day called
`Valentines Day'. He had just
come back from Makai, a three-week
training session with Mukuro. He
snorted as men ran to chocolate and
flower shops. `Valentines Day'
was just a reason for those stupid
ningens to waste money on stupid
things. Though, those sweets that
Kurama calls `Chocolates', the fire
demon was quite fond of them. He
snorted again as he saw Kuwabara
running out of the store with a box of
chocolates on his left hand
and a big bouquet of roses on the
other. He knew that the big oaf was
devoted to his sister and he had come
to trust the carrot top to
protect Yukina so he didn't have
anything to worry about but that
didn't stop him from checking on his
little sister from time to time.
He wanted to know what his fox was
planned for tonight but he had to
check on his sister first. The past ten
months was like a bliss for
Hiei since Kurama confessed his
feelings for the fire demon and Hiei,
who had first denied it, came to the
conclusion that he loved the
green-eyed fox and told him, the fox,
eyes brimming with tears,
kissed Hiei, who, enthusiastically
returned his feelings.
He flitted of from tree to tree, making
his way to Genkai's temple to
check on Yukina, he sat down on a
branch of a tree at Genkai's temple
as he watched his sister stuff the
pigeons with crumbs of bread. He
chuckled as Yukina began to give food
to a particularly fat pigeon.
He was surprised when the ice goddess
walked up to the tree and
called him. "Oniisan, come down
from there and have some tea" Yukina
looked up at a branch were Hiei was
perched on. The fire demon
grunted as he hopped down from the branch
and onto the ground. The
female koorime gave her brother a kiss
on the cheek and led him
inside the temple, forcing him to have
tea with her. Asking about
news in the Makai and how Kurama was
doing. After that, he started to
run from tree to tree, running over to
his Kitsune's apartment.
Kurama decided to rent an apartment a
short distance away from his
home so the lovers could see each other
without anyone bothering
them.
He slid open the window on the kitchen
and jumped inside. Odd, he
couldn't feel Kurama's ki, he went to
their bedroom and still
couldn't feel the fox's ki. He
scratched his head. Where did the
Kurama go? He went out of the house
again and began searching for
Kurama's ki. He went to the red heads
university, but still no sign
of the fox. He went to Yusuke's house
next. He stood outside of
Yusuke and Keiko's house. The couple
had finally gotten married and
now lived in a two-story house near
Genkai's temple. He knocked on
the door and the raven-haired tantei
opened the door.
"Hiei, what are you doing
here?" Yusuke asked him. All knew that
Kurama and Hiei were together and had
no objections about it. Even
Kurama's ningen mother, Shiori, was
even happy to know that her son
had someone special. "Hn, do you
know where Kurama is?" the youkai
asked shortly. Yusuke thought for a
moment, "Noooo…" then his face
lit up into a mischievous smirk.
"Soooo Hiei, what do you have
planned for today? Today is Valentines
Day, and you know…" The former
delinquent nudged Hiei at his side and
began making kissing noises.
If Yusuke only didn't save Hiei's butt
so many times, the fire demon
would have released his Kokuryuhaa
right now and let it gobble the
raven-haired tantei up. Hiei slapped
his hand away. "I was asking you
if you have seen Kurama." He said.
Yusuke chuckled, "Iie, but why
don't you come in first?" Before
he had a chance to open the door the
small koorime had already left in a
displacement of air. "Matte
Hiei!!" He chuckled and closed the
door, those two can never see
enough of each other!

Hiei again, raced from tree to tree,
hoping to find his precious
redhead. He stopped by the park to
catch his breath, his been looking
for Kurama for 2 hours already! He sat
down on one of the park
benches. He was beginning to get
worried, not that he would tell the
fox that. He was so lost in his
thoughts that when a woman sat down
beside him, he almost jumped out of his
skin and slashed the woman
into pieces. His anger went down when
he saw the woman sobbing
uncontrollably; somehow he felt
sympathy for the ningen woman. The
woman was like Kurama. How the fox
cries when they have a fight.
Speaking of the kitsune, he was ready
to flit off when the woman
suddenly grabbed his hand.
"What do you want?" He
growled, the woman took out a handkerchief
from her purse and dabbed at her eyes.
"Please stay here, I want to
talk to someone" Hiei was ready to
cut off the woman's hand but the
woman burst into tears and Hiei just
couldn't bear to kill the woman
(Oh my god! Hiei was being nice!! It's
a miracle I tell you!!). Hiei
sat down with a huff, might as well
rest for a while. "Talk" he said
curtly, the woman looked relieved and
started to cry on Hiei's
shoulder. The small Koorime rolled his
eyes. Now he would have to get
his cloak cleaned, the woman was
covering his coat with her tears and
snot!
After about a half an hour the woman
finally stopped and thanked Hiei
like there was no tomorrow, the
jaganshi just grunted and started to
blur to Kurama's house. Just a few blocks
to Kurama's house when a
guy almost collided with him, Hiei
grunted again and was ready to
slice the guy to pieces if he wasn't in
such a hurry. He flitted form
tree to tree. Running for his fox's
apartment. But it seemed that at
every block, the youkai would
encounter, a sobbing woman, a crazed
man or a couple who were completely PDA
(It means public display of
affection). The estimated time in
getting to Kurama's place would
only have been at least 3 minutes but
came into a half an hour. The
fire demon was getting impatient at all
the Baka ningens delaying him
that he almost sighed in relief when he
saw the kitchen window to the
fox's apartment.
Again, sliding the kitchen window open,
he hopped down on the tiled
kitchen and peered around. He still
couldn't feel Kurama's ki. He was
getting frustrated and was ready to
just sleep on a tree for the day
when he saw a flicker of light outside
their bedroom. He didn't feel
any other youki, maybe the youkai was
masking it. He slid his katana
out of its sheath and readied it as he
tip toed toward the bedroom.
What could have happened to his fox? He
opened the door a crack and
blurred inside the room. He was ready
for a fight when he noticed
that the room looked different.
The room was filled with candles, each
with a size different from the
others. The bed had rose petals strewn
all over it. Hiei thought that
it would feel so good against his skin.
It had new bed sheets too.
The color was velvet red, with dark
fringes around the pillows. He
breathed in the scent the rose petals
produced; he was taken out of
his reverie when he heard the door to
the bathroom open. And a very
bewildered redhead stepped out of it.
Wearing only a robe, with a
towel around his hair. Obviously, the
fox was taking a bath. Kurama
gave his beloved one of his charming
smiles. "What's with the sword
Koibito?" The fox pointed at the
katana and Hiei sheathed it and laid
it by the door. "Hn. Why didn't I
feel your youki when I came in?"
Kurama took off the towel form his head
and toweled off his
hair. "You were looking for
me?" The fox teased. "Oh Koibito, how
sweet of you" The youkai grunted.
"Hn. I just came back from Mukuro's
training session." The fire demon
sat down on the bed, he picked up
one rose petal and began to caress it
in between his fingers. The fox
giggled, "I just wanted to
surprise you koibito, today is Valentines
Day after all."
The red head walked over o Hiei and
knelt between Hiei's legs. "I
missed you so much for the past three
weeks" He was eye to eye to
Hiei and gave his little precious
youkai a deep kiss to welcome him.
The lovers parted when they both needed
air, Hiei laid his head on
Kurama's chest, savoring the smell of
his fox. Kurama wrapped his
arms around the fire demon. "Are
you hurt?" checking the youkai's
body for injuries. "Iie." The
jaganshi replied. "Good. I don't want
anything to disturb us tonight
koibito" Hiei rolled his eyes. "That's
all you ever think about kitsune,"
The kitsune giggled. "Only for you
koibito" Kurama pushed the youkai
down on the bed and began
smothering him with kisses. Hiei smiled
a little in between kisses,
Stupid, horny, sexy kitsune.

The two lovers lay in bed after a night
of lovemaking. Hiei covered
the two of them with the silk velvet
blanket. Kurama kissed his
koibito on the nose. "I'm glad
you're back koibito" he gave his fire
demon a squeeze. Hiei, in return, began
to twirl a strand of the
fox's red tresses, eyebrows scrunched
together in thought.
The fox noticed this and looked at his
spiky-haired lover. "What are
you thinking about Hiei?" Hiei
looked at Kurama. "What is the point
of this day? And why is it called
Valentines Day?" Kurama smiled one
of his charming smiles. Is that what
he's thinking about? Well, it
was good Hiei was paying attention to
what he was saying before. He
played with Hiei's chest, "Well,
Valentines Day is day when couples
celebrate"
"Why?"
Kurama told the story of Valentines Day
(don't know the story, but I
know there is. So don't ask me).
"Understand?" Kurama finished, Hiei
nodded and Kurama settled in his
koibito's arms in a hug. He was
surprised when Hiei suddenly spoke.
"Happy Valentines Day fox"
Kurama smiled, "Happy Valentines
Day Koibito" and fell asleep in
Hiei's arms.
